Ozempic is a registered trademark of Novo Nordisk A/S. It is a prescription medicine. An online service may provide clinical access, but it cannot promise that a clinician will prescribe a particular treatment.
Important safety information: Ozempic has a boxed warning about the risk of thyroid C-cell tumors. It is contraindicated in people with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2. Major risks include pancreatitis, diabetic retinopathy complications, low blood sugar when used with certain medicines, acute kidney injury, severe gastrointestinal reactions, gallbladder problems, and serious allergic reactions. Read the complete official Ozempic Prescribing Information and Medication Guide, including its approved uses, boxed warning, contraindications, warnings, and adverse reactions.
This page is general information, not medical advice. Talk to a licensed clinician about your situation.
Online care still requires clinical judgment
The internet changes where communication happens, not the clinician's duty to evaluate the patient. A licensed clinician must review enough information to decide whether a prescription is medically appropriate. Completing a questionnaire is the start of review, not an automatic approval.
Ozempic is FDA-approved to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes, along with diet and exercise. Its label also includes certain cardiovascular and kidney-related uses in adults with type 2 diabetes. The official prescribing information contains the complete indications and limitations.
A search for an Ozempic prescription online cannot establish a diagnosis or approved use for an individual. The clinician may recommend another plan, request more information, or conclude that telehealth is not appropriate.
Information needed for evaluation
Expect to provide a complete medical history, current medicines, allergies, and relevant treatment history. The clinician may ask about diabetes care, low blood sugar, kidney function, pancreas or gallbladder conditions, eye disease, digestive symptoms, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and planned procedures.
Disclose any personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2 because Ozempic is contraindicated in those situations. List every prescription, over-the-counter medicine, vitamin, and supplement. Missing information can affect the safety of clinical decisions.
The clinician may request laboratory results, medical records, identity verification, or an in-person assessment. Requirements vary with the patient's needs and applicable rules. No one should guarantee a prescription before completing this review.
From decision to pharmacy
If the clinician decides a prescription is appropriate, it is sent to a licensed pharmacy. The pharmacy verifies the prescription, checks inventory, processes the selected payment method, and dispenses the medication with required labeling and safety materials.
A prescription does not guarantee inventory or a particular price. Ask the pharmacy about availability, storage, pickup or delivery, and the amount due. Pharmacy stock and network status can change.
Avoid websites that sell prescription medicine without a valid prescription or hide the identity and location of the dispensing pharmacy. The FDA's BeSafeRx guidance explains how consumers can check online pharmacy practices.
Service and medication costs
Body Good's prices are service fees for the clinical program described during intake. They are not medication prices and are not a quote for any individual. Eligibility is determined by a clinician.
Medication cost is separate and is not included in a Body Good service fee. The dispensing pharmacy charges for medication. Laboratory testing or other services, if clinically appropriate, may also have a separate cost.
Ask what the service fee covers, how often it applies, and whether additional clinical or administrative services have separate charges. For the medication, obtain an estimate from the pharmacy or health plan using the exact prescription. Keeping these charges separate prevents a misleading total.
How coverage support works
Body Good may assist with a benefits check and requested prior authorization documentation. This is assistance with coverage. It is not a guarantee that the plan will approve or pay for a prescription.
The plan reviews its current formulary, approved-use criteria, medical information, and benefit rules. It may apply a deductible, copay, coinsurance, quantity limit, step requirement, or preferred pharmacy network. Approval and payment are determined by the plan, not by Body Good.
Ask the plan for its current documents and the reason for any denial. A submitted prior authorization does not guarantee approval. If review or appeal rights exist, the plan's notice should explain the process and deadlines.
What ongoing care should include
Prescription care does not end when the pharmacy dispenses medication. Follow-up allows the clinician to review side effects, other medicines, new health information, and whether the care plan remains appropriate.
Read the Medication Guide each time it is provided. Contact the clinician about concerning symptoms or access problems. Seek urgent medical care when symptoms are severe. Do not change the dose, stop treatment, or share medication based on general information online.
Tell every treating clinician about your medicines, especially before a planned procedure. Keep pharmacy and clinician contact information available. A responsible online program should explain how routine and urgent concerns are handled.
Signs of a responsible service
Look for identifiable licensed clinicians, a real clinical evaluation, transparent service fees, privacy protections, licensed pharmacy fulfillment, and ongoing support. The service should explain that prescribing depends on clinical judgment.
Be cautious with guaranteed approval, pressure to pay quickly, unclear pharmacy information, or claims that one treatment is right for everyone. A low price or fast timeline does not replace safety checks.
Also distinguish clinical care from pharmacy fulfillment. The telehealth service evaluates and supports the patient. The pharmacy dispenses and charges for medication. The health plan separately decides coverage and payment.
Starting with Body Good
This website is an informational and pricing overview. It does not take payment, collect protected health information, or run an intake form. Intake and checkout occur on the separate Body Good site.
Submitting an intake begins review by a licensed clinician. It does not guarantee eligibility, treatment, coverage, or a prescription. Begin a confidential clinical intake.
Frequently asked questions
Is an online prescription guaranteed after intake?
No. A licensed clinician reviews your medical information and decides whether any prescription is appropriate. They may need records, testing, more discussion, or an in-person evaluation.
Who dispenses the medication?
A licensed pharmacy dispenses medication pursuant to a valid prescription. The pharmacy confirms inventory, processes the payment method, and charges separately for the medicine.
Can Body Good guarantee insurance coverage?
No. Body Good provides coverage support and may assist with paperwork. The health plan determines approval and payment under its current terms.
